Work for TLC

Therapeutic Living Centers for the Blind (TLC), a non-profit community based organization that provides programs and services for individuals who have multiple disabilities, including blindness, is currently recruiting for the following positions:

Day Program Assistant (Floater) – (3 non-exempt positions)

Provide direct supervision, evaluation and training of clients in self-help, vocational work and recreational skills. Transporting clients to and from community integration, volunteer programs and work/training opportunities. Specific skill development in the areas of grooming, toileting, basic hygiene, meal prep, kitchen work, social/communication, assembly and money management skills. Swimming with consumers.

Residential Aide (Day)–(2 Part-time non-exempt positions)
Provide supervision and assist residents in the activities of daily living; including but not limited to basic hygiene, bathing, grooming. Assist with the completion of household cleaning and meal preparation. Transport, participate, and assist in recreational activities.

Weekend Residential Aide– (2 Full-time non-exempt positions)
Provide supervision and assist residents in the activities of daily living; including but not limited to basic hygiene, bathing, grooming. Assist with the completion of household cleaning and meal preparation. Transport, participate, and assist in recreational activities.

Residential Aide (Overnight) – (1 Part-time non-exempt position)

Provide supervision and assist residents in the activities of daily living; including but not limited to basic hygiene, bathing, grooming. Assist with the completion of household cleaning and meal preparation. Transport, participate, and assist in recreational activities.

Accounts Payable/ Payroll Accountant – (1 Full-time non-exempt position)
Under the supervision of the Finance Manager, the Accounts Payable and Payroll Accountant shall process all aspects of accounts payable, check request and/or other related documentation for completeness and compliance with financial policies; schedule and process weekly or as needed vendor payments, process all aspects of payroll through Paychex website, Stromberg, and ACCPAC.
